O desenrolar de l\u00e1 t\u00e1 amarrado de com for\u00e7a com a hist\u00f3ria da imigra\u00e7\u00e3o dos japoneses e a chegada daquelas culturas de dar muito dinheiro no s\u00e9culo XX. Esse polo ganhou for\u00e7a mesmo l\u00e1 pros anos 1930, quando trouxeram as primeiras mudas de pimenta-do-reino. Esse tempero, logo chamado de &#8220;ouro negro&#8221; da Amaz\u00f4nia, deu uma reviravolta na paisagem e no bolso da galera, fazendo o Brasil, depois da Segunda Guerra, ser um dos tebudos na exporta\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">O tempo bom da pimenta <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"23\">esbandalhou<\/b> nas d\u00e9cadas de 60 e 70, com uma praga desgra\u00e7ada chamada fusariose, um fungo que matou tudo pela raiz. Foi um verdadeiro <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"156\">passamento<\/b> que deixou a economia local na ro\u00e7a, for\u00e7ando um monte de gente a <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"233\">capar o gato<\/b> e abandonar as terras, e muita fam\u00edlia <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"285\">levou o farelo<\/b> na economia. Pra n\u00e3o ficar no fundo do po\u00e7o, os cabocos, puxados pela Cooperativa Agr\u00edcola Mista de Tom\u00e9-A\u00e7u (CAMTA), <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"418\">deram seus pulos<\/b>. Olhando os saberes dos ribeirinhos e como a mata se arruma, criaram o Sistema Agroflorestal de Tom\u00e9-A\u00e7u (SAFTA). Esse esquema planta a pimenta junto com cacau, a\u00e7a\u00ed, cupua\u00e7u e outras \u00e1rvores, dividindo o risco e deixando todo mundo mais de bubuia.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">Mesmo com essa sacada muito cabe\u00e7a, a pimenta de Tom\u00e9-A\u00e7u sofre hoje com um mal de lugar perif\u00e9rico: a gente depende de mandar o produto cru, in natura. Nossa produ\u00e7\u00e3o entra no mercado gringo de um jeito <b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"204\">muito palha<\/b> e desigual. A Amaz\u00f4nia engole o choro com clima e praga, enquanto a chefia l\u00e1 da Europa, Am\u00e9rica do Norte e \u00c1sia pega <b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"334\">s\u00f3 o creme mano!<\/b> do lucro, porque eles processam, botam marca bacana e vendem pro cliente final.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"7\">A Cadeia de Exporta\u00e7\u00e3o: Volumes, Log\u00edstica e Destinos Estrat\u00e9gicos<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Din\u00e2mica de Produ\u00e7\u00e3o e Escala de Exporta\u00e7\u00e3o<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\">O Brasil \u00e9 maceta no mercado global de especiarias, sempre como o segundo maior produtor e exportador, perdendo s\u00f3 pro Vietn\u00e3. A produ\u00e7\u00e3o nacional deu um salto de 59,4 mil toneladas (l\u00e1 nos anos 80) pra um patamar entre 114 mil e 124,9 mil toneladas hoje em dia. O Par\u00e1, que come\u00e7ou essa hist\u00f3ria toda, ainda \u00e9 o segundo polo mais forte do pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">L\u00e1 pras bandas de Tom\u00e9-A\u00e7u, a galera broca! A cidade tira uma produ\u00e7\u00e3o estimada entre 4.800 e 5.880 toneladas todo ano (11,4% de toda a pimenta do Par\u00e1). Os gringos da Alemanha, Emirados \u00c1rabes, Holanda e EUA compram tudo porque precisam do nosso gr\u00e3o pras ind\u00fastrias deles. Os caras d\u00e3o uma de <b data-path-to-node=\"12\" data-index-in-node=\"351\">escovados<\/b>, compram nosso gr\u00e3o subfaturado, d\u00e3o um banho de esteriliza\u00e7\u00e3o qu\u00edmica, tiram qualquer <b data-path-to-node=\"12\" data-index-in-node=\"448\">tu\u00edra<\/b> e vendem car\u00edssimo pros europeus. E a gente fica chupando dedo.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"13\">Impacto Econ\u00f4mico e o Labirinto Fiscal<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"14\">A vida em Tom\u00e9-A\u00e7u gira em torno da ro\u00e7a. A pimenta segura muita gente no campo porque, diferente da soja ou do dend\u00ea que usam m\u00e1quina pra tudo, a pimenta precisa do caboco l\u00e1 no sol colhendo cacho por cacho. \u00c9 emprego certo o ano todo.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"15\">Mas na hora de pagar imposto, a coisa fede. O produtor e as empresas acham mais vantagem mandar a pimenta suja de navio do que industrializar aqui. O dinheiro vai todo embora, e Tom\u00e9-A\u00e7u fica na ro\u00e7a, sem conseguir virar uma cidade com ind\u00fastria forte.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"16\">Entraves Estruturais: Por que N\u00e3o Processamos Aqui?<\/h3>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"17\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"17,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"17,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">A Barreira da Esteriliza\u00e7\u00e3o:<\/b> A gringa tem frescura e exige um padr\u00e3o de limpeza que n\u00e3o d\u00e1 pra fazer de qualquer jeito. Se algu\u00e9m te conta isso, tu dizes logo: <b data-path-to-node=\"19\" data-index-in-node=\"279\">Teu cu!<\/b> Mas pior que \u00e9 verdade.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"20\">Os japoneses n\u00e3o t\u00eam clima pra plantar pimenta, mas as leis gringas dizem que se voc\u00ea importa o produto sujo, esteriliza, m\u00f3i e bota num vidro bonito, ele ganha uma &#8220;nova nacionalidade&#8221;. A\u00ed eles misturam com outras pimentas, botam um marketing de primeira e vendem o quilo por mais de US$ 100,00. Nossa galera vendeu o mesmo quilo por uns 6 d\u00f3lares no porto. Eles <b data-path-to-node=\"20\" data-index-in-node=\"364\">aplicam na jugular<\/b> do paraense e nossa hist\u00f3ria de luta e agrofloresta \u00e9 esquecida.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"21\">Estrat\u00e9gias e Solu\u00e7\u00f5es (A Hora de Dar a Forra)<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"22\">Se a gente n\u00e3o se orientar, vamos <b data-path-to-node=\"22\" data-index-in-node=\"34\">apanhar mais do que vaca quando entra na ro\u00e7a<\/b>.
